Welcome to The Live and Let Live on Bringsty Common. At last the Live is now open and has been put back to being a Pub again after 11 years of closure.
The present owner Sue Dovey, has finished renovating the Pub after a long 4 years of waiting for planning and legal matters to get sorted. Allthough the Work has been completed you can re-live the mammoth task that was undertaken by looking at the 'progress' and 'images' link.
With the Pub open you can now keep up to date with all that is offered. Whether it's food in the 'Thatch' restaurant, attractions or events within the pub and surrounding area this will be the site to keep you up to date. Sue is looking to re-kindle the activities and interest that the pub enjoyed in its former days, both within the local community and beyond.
This 300 year old ex-cider house certainly still does have a lot to offer. Sue is constantly finding out more and more about the history of this fascinating old building so keep checking on the History page to find out more.
