Above shows the willow commencing using buff uprights and green willow. This is going to be under the thatch and will be seen from inside the upstairs restaurant. The thatcher is booked in to start soon so Sue had to give a helping hand to get weaving done in time for the thatcher. Below Simply green oak barge boards are fixed to gable end using traditional handmade rose headed nails, backed with code 5 lead.
